He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Dean and Winston Dean; and his sister Barbara Spanos. He is survived by: his significant other Morris; and his nieces, Susan McDonald and Catherine Rodic of Carleton Place, ON..

If desired, memorial donations to Mariposa House Hospice, Severn where his final days were made peaceful and with the greatest of respect.
