He was predeceased by: his wife Mary "Joy" Louise; his daughter Heather Corbett; and his siblings, Roy (Mary), Murray, Marlene and Marie.
He is survived by: his children, Danny Corbett of Fort St, James Corbett of Penticton, BC., Adam Friesen of London, ON and Jenny Corbett of Edmonton, AB; and his brothers, Dwight (late Elaine) of Orillia and Hubert. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendrier Orillia Presbyterian Church (99 Peter St N, Orillia, ON L3V4Z3). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Presbyterian Church, St. Andrews' or the Marchmont Baptist Church (cheques only) would be appreciated and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
