He was predeceased by: his father Edmund Leis. He is survived by: his wife Julie; his children, Noah, Caitlin and Gabriel Leis; his parent Lydiann Leis; his siblings, Doug (Cheryl Leis), Judy (Tim Yantzi), Rob (Brenda Leis), Val (Rob Bender) and Sherry (Metaxas Makedos); his parents-in-law, Raymond and Catherine Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Marty, Susan Scott, Cheryl, Norm Penney, Christine, Greg Fries, Jeff, Sue Scott, Jamie and Sherri Scott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
