He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine; and his siblings, Phillip (Patricia), Betty Deschamps (Larry), Tom (Rene) and Kenneth (Jean).
He is survived by: his children, David Smith (Cheryl Hammond), Mark Smith (Dawn), Sherri-Lyn Smith (Edward Cleaveley) and Michelle Wallace (Les); his grandchildren, Cameron (Sarah), Liam (Maggie), Ronnie, Mamie (Tom), Memphis (Shawn), Heidi, Sylver (Pat), Melanie and Mandy; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Evelyn, Bud, Loretta, Dixie, Ember, Howie, Miller and Damem.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
