He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Annia; his parents, Lillian and Harry; his children, Michael (Lisa), Sandee (Mika) and Celena (Simon); his grandchildren, David, Emmi and Travis; and his siblings, Ian (Carol) and Jalna (late Richard). He was also cherished by his in laws and extended family.

A gathering will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Friday February 3rd, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until family prayers at 1:30 p.m. In the lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
