Having grown up together at the lake, and having spent so much time at your cottage, your mother became a ‘second-Mother’ to me, and so many others like me, and over so many generations. I have several memories of Mrs. Potter. I will always remember her as a warm and kind lady, who honestly cared. She would ask me how I’m doing, -what’s new, -how my parents are doing?, and see that she sincerely cared to know. She was not unlike my own mother. God Bless.
