He was predeceased by : his child Shirley Schneller; and his brother Len Bamford. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Bamford; his child Jodie Henderson (late Ross); his grandchildren, Ryan, Jacqueline, Victoria, Nicole, Candace, Erika, Tyson, Jacob, Joshua, Benjamin, Will, Isaac, Gabriel, Nathan, Alexandra, Henry and Alice; his great grandchildren, Sophia, Simon, Stacey and Maisie; and also, Matthew (Huyen), Meredith (Rob), Timothy (Claire) and Christopher (Kim). He is also survived by his family and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 19th 2022 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 19th 2022 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Helping Hands or to Mariposa House Hospice.
