Doug Cook Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doug Cook (Orillia, Ontario), born in Kitchener, Ontario, who passed away on June 15, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Cook and Lavina Cook; his son Rick; and his siblings, Patricia, Jackie and Ken.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughters, Cheryl (John), Karen (Bill), Susan and Linda; his daughter-in-law Sharon; his grandchildren, Matt, Greg (Heather), Michelle, Danielle, Nick (Laura) and Alex (Teri); his great grandchildren, Jack and Zoe; his sisters, Jean and Joyce (Gerry); and his siblings-in-law, Wilma and Garry (Pat). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Comfie Cat Shelter, St. David's Anglican Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated, and may be made through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James St. E Orillia.
