He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Edna Leatherdale; his children, Gary Leatherdale (Adrianna) of Pickering and Debra Barsevich of Orillia; his grandchild Kara Barsevich; and his siblings, Ross Leatherdale (Bud), Jim Leatherdale (Dorothy) and Doug Leatherdale (Judy). He was also cherished by his many friends, family, nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
