With sadness, we share the passing of Edna Andrews in Orillia, Ontario. Edna passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Earhart and Clara Earhart; her husband George Andrews; her children, Jack Andrews (Gayle), Randy Andrews (Marilyn), Rose Renkema (Brian), Jennifer Minor and Bernard McGillion; and her siblings, Melvin, Irene (Russell), Edward (Marie), Joseph (Shirley), George (Muriel), Herbert (Florence), Clarence (Jean), Clara and Phillip (Grace).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jeff (Diane), Megan (Marco), Laurel, Emily (Dominic), Hilary (Jake), Brett (Lindsey) and Chloe (Nathanial); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Everly and Giorgio; her brother Kenneth Earhart; and her caregivers, Guilana, Jessica, Paige and Brooke.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stoke Foundation, Diabetes Canada or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
