He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Preston and Alice Isabel "D. D."; and his brother John "Jackie". He is survived by: his former wife Ronda; his children, Brandy Nicholson and Chris Nicholson of Orillia; his grandchildren, Hannah and Adam Nicholson of Orillia; his siblings, Eric (Lillian), Kate, Clifford and Amanda (Scott) of British Columbia; and his friend Ruth Anne Tiffin of Orillia. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
