He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera May (Parker) and Albert Russell Day; his sister Doris Beavers (Day); his brother-in-law Gene Beavers; and his sister Carol Thompson (Day).
He is survived by: his wife Lorna; and his brother-in-law Elgin Thompson. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews their families, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jeudi Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1).
