He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Quick and Catherine Quick; his parents-in-law, Orville and Bessie Steels; his son Darryl Quick; his grandchildren, Justin (Courtney), Kyle Quick (Jennie Mae), Marty (Ashley) and Ryan Locke (Georgia); his great grandchild Willa; his siblings, Joan Taylor (Royal), Ella McLaren (Victor), Frank Quick (Eleanor), Irene Quick, Eric Quick (Martha), Myrna Gillett (Ernie), June Ferrel (Ken), Rae Craig (Robert) and Doris Quick; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Hopkins, Mary Livingston (Dennis) and Bill Steels (Eileen).
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Irene Quick; his children, Brian Quick and Paula Locke (Murray); and his brother-in-law Wes Steels (Marilyn). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). A reception will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:45 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
As expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Mariposa House Hospice.
