It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick Michael Newton (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy; his children, Sandy Madorin (Sean), Marc Newton (Sara) and Jim Newton (Harriette Van Spall); his grandchildren, Emma, Spencer, Carter Madorin, Rachel, Karyn, Calvin, Malcolm Newton, Rebecca and Luke Newton; and his sisters, Carol Caldwell and Margaret Cook. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mariposa Hospice, St. James Anglican Church, or the charity of your choice in Mike's memory.
