She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce; her son Gregory; and her siblings, Reg, Carl (Audrey), Max Tryon and Hazel Chambers (Edgar).

She is survived by: her children, Murray (Janice), Maureen Hawn Bristow (Tim Bristow) and Angela Hawn (Mike Budding); her grandchildren, Julie Hawn Ernst (Winston), Lindsay Krisjanssan (Erik), Marsha Seibel (Matt), Madeline "Maddie" Hawn Budding and Isobel Hawn Budding; her great grandchildren, Darwin, Alexander Ernst, Holden and Hope Krisjanssan; and her sisters-in-law, Judy Tryon and Lorna Tryon.
