Gord Stewart Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Gord Stewart (Orillia, Ontario) is shared. Gord passed away on July 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Gord will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honour Gord by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Gord is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Gord’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.

He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Joan Stewart; his parents, Ernest Stewart and Dorothy Stewart; and his siblings, Freddie and Dianna Kirch.

He is survived by: his sisters, Gloria Beamis (late Gene), Donna Stewart-Neely and Doreen Webb. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation towards Gord's monument would be appreciated by his family.
