He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Coones and Lauren Coones; and his siblings, Alvin Coones and Alta Van Andel. He is survived by: his wife Joan Coones; his children, Sandra Coones and Kelly Coones (Stephen Pidhirny); and his grandson Zachary Quesnelle (Madison Lebrun).
