Grant Thomas Purssell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grant Thomas Purssell (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Purssell and Jessie Purssell; and his brother Wayne Purssell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his daughters, Leandra and Caitlin; his son-in-law Tyler; his grandchildren, Sebastian and Delilah; his brother Kevin (Pam); his nephews, Jason (Phan) of Midland and Ryan (Danielle) of Midland; his brothers-in-law, Eric (Mary Jane) and Wayne; and his aunt Joan of Naples.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Grant's memory to Pancreatic Cancer Canada.
