He is survived by: his spouse Brunhilde; his grandchildren, Mara (Doctor), Neil, Jacob Oesterle, Rylea Oesterle (Ensign), Alexander, Liam and Logan; his sister-in-law Renata; and his sister Erika (Manfred). He is also survived by his family and his many friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
