He was predeceased by: his son Randy; his parents, George Young and Phoebe Young; and his siblings, Sharon Macdonald (Charlie), Geordie Young (Marion), Margaret Nelson (Dave), Shelby Rollanson (George), Laura Mclean (Bill), Roger Young, Gloria Fleming (Doug), Joyce McClellan (Ken), Olive Page (Alex) and Lois Young.

He is survived by: his children, Brian and Wendy; his grandchildren, Brandon and Jessica; and his great grandchild Parker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
