She was loved and cherished by many people including : her spouse Dr. Chris Decker; her children, Arlene (Kam Gill) of London, Mary Claire (Drew Lunham) of Cochrane and Hilary (Sam Ward) of Powell River; her grandchildren, Ashreet Singh Decker and Isabelle Jill Decker; her parents, Bill Rankin and Nancy Rankin; her siblings, Mary Rankin, Andrew Rankin and Rob Rankin (Martha Kerr); and her niece Georgia Rankin.
