He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; and his parents, Robert and Lillian. He is survived by: his children, Diane, Herb (Susan) and James (Linda); his grandchildren, Michelle Zalewski (Shawn), Jesse Mowles (Denise) and Martina Hickey (Anthony Fracassa); and his great grandchildren, Jack and Damon Mowles.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mangan Funeral Home (332 Osborne St, Beaverton, ON L0K1A0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
