She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Rivett and Elsie Rivett; her siblings, Horst (Tilly), Alan (Hazel) and Norey (Joan); and her brothers-in-law, Bruce Beard (Wendy) and Dave Beard (Sylvia).
She is survived by: her husband John Beard; her sons, Michael (Jacqueline) and Paul (Kimberley); her grandchildren, Carter, Decker and Jessica; and her great grandchild Rowan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the North Country Baptist Church (4011 Burnside Line, Orillia, ON L3V6H4). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. James' Cemetery (320 Coldwater Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V6J8).
