She was predeceased by: her spouse Allan McIntyre; her child Brian Bale; and her sibling Joan Rosenthal. She is survived by: her children, Gale, Gary, Rand, Patricia, Shelley and Rod Ritter; her grandchildren, Ellie Bale, Dale Devine, Lauren Bale, Michael Bordin, Stacey Bale, Brian Morrissey, Nick Ritter, Kailey LaPointe and Craig LaPointe; her great grandchildren, Trent, Brock, Mia, Dain, Zade and Brin; her sibling Reg Skinner; her friends, Doon Clarke, Janet Atkinson and Susan White; and her sister-in-law Marg McIntyre.
