She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Mary and William Clarence Massecar; her parents, Rosaire Vezina and Ruth Vezina; her adoptive parents, Kenneth Shewell and Thelma Shewell; and her granddaughter Hannah Richardson.

She is survived by: her husband Roger of Orillia; her children, Kevin Richardson (Laura Lynn) of Durham and Kim Richardson of Gatineau, Quebec.; her stepchildren, Casey, Luke and Isaac; her grandchildren, Dominic, Etienn, Nathan, Elizabeth, Cloe, Abigail, Hayley and Danielle; her great grandchild Wyatt; and her siblings, Joan Vezina of Victoria, BC, Greg Shewell (Bernice) of Edmonton, AB and Cindy Wight (Ron) of London, Ont.. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws and their families and her nieces, nephews.
