James David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Arlene (Barlow); his children, Dorene (Wil) and Warren (Aaren); his grandchildren, Ryan (Megan), Kaitlyn (Aaron), Emma (Sam), Iain and Lily; and his siblings, Ellen and Steve of Victoria. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 3:15 PM at the St James' Cemetery (320 Coldwater Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V6J8).
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour his memory may consider a donation to the local Alzheimer Society.
