He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose McLaughlin and Don McLaughlin; his sister Judy (Bruce Brodie); and his siblings-in-law, Don (Carol Blunt) and Marlene Scholte.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Blunt; his children, Katie McLaughlin (Tom), Christina Janson (Christopher), DJ McLaughlin (Corinn), Stacy and Leon Strong; his grandchildren, Cameron Irwin (Hailey), Cole Janson (Abby), Lauren Irwin (Jakob), Cassidy Janson (Kasey), Carter McLaughlin (Brooke), Hayden McLaughlin and Lexon Strong (Ella); his siblings, Susan (John Charles), Robert (Martha McLaughlin), Mary (Rick Brooks), Penny (Dan Boyd), Elizabeth McLaughlin and Wendy McLaughlin (Barry); his brothers-in-law, Doug (Sharon Blunt), Stephen and Lynn Blunt; his extended family, Bob, Mary-Anne Willsey and Nancy Moore; and his nieces, Elizabeth and Stephanie Willsey.
