He was predeceased by : his sister Helen Connelly (Joseph). He is survived by : his wife Anne Welsh; his children, Evelyn Ward (Clarence), Jackie and Michelle Welsh (Jeffrey Flindall); his grandchildren, Holly, Grace, Rachel, Anneka, Henry, Bridget and Gary; his great grandchildren, Svein and Maskwa; and his sister Ann Davidson (John).
