It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wilson Hunter (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on October 6, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Meada Hunter; his children, Scott (Kayla) and Marci; his grandchildren, Jessie (Matt), Madison and Piper; and his siblings, Bill (Sue), Anne (Lou) and Hank.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mundell Chapel (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1).
Donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Mariposa House Hospice.
