James Somerville Wood Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 8, 2022, at the age of 105, James Somerville Wood (Orillia, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marie; his sons, Jim (Priscilla) of Hopewell Cape, NB and Murray of Vernon, BC.; his grandchildren, Celena (Scott), Carlee (Andy) and Rebecca (Jordan); his stepdaughter Lise (Travis); his stepgrandson Alexander; his stepdaughter Ruth (Matt); and his siblings, Peter, Hugh and Helen.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Mariposa House Hospice, Emmanuel, Barbershopper's "We sing that they may hear", The NDP Party of Canada, or NCRI Women's Committee supporting equality for women in Iran would be appreciated by the family. Donations are being collected for distribution through the Mundell Funeral Home.
