She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Banks. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Banks (Sandra), Tim Banks (Cathy) and Lisa Hildred (Mark); her grandchildren, Chris Banks, Zachary Strachan Banks (Ivy), Natalie Phillips (Nelson), Garret Strachan Banks (Jessica), Nicole Hildred (Andrew) and Jeremey Hildred (Kaitlin); and her great grandchildren, Ennah and Zephyr.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Guardian Angels Church (115 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C4). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Church of the Guardian Angels (115 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C4).
Memorial donations may be made in Janet's name to Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital or a charity of your choice.
