He was predeceased by: his wife Judy Mathews; his sibling Shirley Anne (Terry); his brothers-in-law, David (Darlene) and Stuart; his parents, David Mathews and Elaine LaBarr; and his parent-in-law Morley Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Mathews and Lee Anne Mathews (Brad); his grandchildren, Dakota, Jacob and Jordyn; his siblings-in-law, Nancy (Brad), Greg (Debbie), Virginia, Grant and Shannon (Andy); and his parent-in-law Jackie.
