He was predeceased by: his siblings, Desmond, Kathleen, Peter and Terence; and his sister-in-law Christine Nicholls.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Jonathan Freely (Samantha Johnson) of Bracebridge and Jayne Jones (Jeff Emms) of Mt. St; his grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Brittney (Jeremy), Megan, Adam (Cassie) of Craig, AJ, Jack, Henry, Aleah, Avalee, Callan and Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Iris Freely, Pamela Freely, Pamela Berry, Ray Nicholls and George Berry. He is also survived by his several nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mark's Presbyterian Church (429 Jamieson Dr, Orillia, ON L3V4Y6). A memorial service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lundi St Mark's Presbyterian Church (429 Jamieson Dr, Orillia, ON L3V4Y6).
