We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2025, at the age of 76, John Douglas Johnson (Orillia, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though John Douglas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Johnson (Boon); his children, Jeff Johnson (Carly), Cecilia and Amy Bigelow (Wilson); his grandchildren, Xander, Jaxon and Anna; his sister Patricia Churchill; and his sister-in-law Linda Nosworthy (David). He is also survived by his nephews, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Joyland Beach Community Centre (4303 McRae Park Rd, Orillia, ON L3V0S2).
