We are sad to announce that, on October 24, 2020, at the age of 91, John Methot (Orillia, Ontario), born in Vancouver, British Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Methot to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Ottilia Methot and Wilbrod Methot. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Gertrude Methot; his sons, Paul Methot of Toronto and Craig Methot of Markham; and his granddaughters, Katie and Michelle Methot of Toronto.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Chalice (foreign child support) 101-26 Union Street, Bedford, N.S. B4A 2B5 or St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o Guardian Angels Church, Orillia, would be gratefully appreciated.

“Paul and Craig, I am so sorry to have just heard that your father passed away a short time ago (he actually passed away on my own father’s birthday). Even though he was technically a client of mine, he became a friend and we had many wonderful conversations about life and family. He was so intelligent and very kind-hearted and he had the most contagious positive attitude. I wanted to just pass along my sincerest condolences to you and your families.
