He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bickell and Katie Bickell (Wires); and his siblings, Alma McMillan and John Bickell. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Bickell (Isaac); his children, John Bickell (Jana) of Brechin, Allan Bickell of Brechin and Sheila Gibson (Robin) of Orillia; his grandchildren, Dillon (Sarah), Arlana, Patsy-Anne and Ashley; and his siblings, Ruth Shaw, Grace Lamb, Elva Dahms, Audrey Langman, George Bickell (Shirley), Katherine Langman (George), Helen Vanderlans (Bart) and Donald Bickell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
If so desired, memorial donations in memory of Joseph Bickell can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Orillia Soldier's Memorial Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
