It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Marie Rutherford (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on June 15, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Marie Rutherford to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Karen (Greg), Linda, Carolynne (Norm) and Michael (Julie); her grandchildren, Rex, Shane, Laura (Darren), Becky, Kaitlin (Simon) and Blake (Esmée); her sister Carol Ann; and her parents, Irwin and Agnes. She was also cherished by child with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mundell Funeral Home (79 West Street N, Orillia, ON L3V5C1). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joyce's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Simcoe County or to Alzheimer's Canada research funding.
