She was predeceased by : her parents, Velma Thompson (Gillespie) and Mel Thompson; her brother Ricky Thompson; her former life partner Andy Cobean (Carol); her siblings, Carol Muise and William Newlove (Bill); and her granddaughter Erin Cobean.

She is survived by : her husband George Bell; her sister Sharon Walters; her children, Allan, Stephen (Janice), Brad Cobean (Karen) and Deanne Haywood (David); her grandchildren, Samantha, Matthew (Megan), Jeffrey Haywood (Shae), Katrina and Brooklyn Haywood (Tyler); her great grandchild Daxton Cobean; her sister-in-law Helen Newlove; and her daughter-in-law Nicole Cobean. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
