He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Michael, Elaine, Patrick (Scanlon), Greg, Laurel, Randy and Karen (Smith); his daughter Janice Cassidy (Jim); his stepdaughter Sheryl (Doug (Gowanlock)); his great grandchildren, Emma, Jack and Luke; his stepdaughter Colleen; and his grandsons, Silas, River and Shane.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Simcoe Funeral Home (38 James St E, Orillia, ON L3V1L1). It was a loss Ken never quite got over, made more difficult that their last planned visit cancelled due to the pandemic.
