He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen Ostertag; his children, Joseph (Debbie Barnett), Robert and Cindy Cleaveley (Glen); his grandchildren, Brent (Aidan), Casandra (Derek), Brooke (Mike), Logan (Ashley), Jordan (Brandon), Devin and Heidi (Mike); and his great grandchildren, Thianna, Haleigh, Tessa, Riley, Eivin and Payton. He was also cherished by many siblings, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes (54 Coldwater St E, Orillia, ON L3V1W5). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
