He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Des Barres. He is survived by: his children, Terry DesBarres (Cindy), Brenda MacDougall (Neil) and David Desbarres (Shaina); and his siblings, Gerald DesBarres, Joan Burke (Carvel), Emmeson DesBarres, Donald DesBarres (Mary), Barbara McPhee, Arnold DesBarres and Burnell DesBarres. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
