He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Cecile Bruneau; his children, Nigel Hawkins (Jackie) and Graham Hawkins; his grandchildren, Melanie (Domenic) and Hayley (Todd); his great grandchild Alison; his sibling Shirley; and his close friend Joan.
