It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luella Mae Atkinson of Orillia, Ontario, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Roy T. Atkinson; her siblings, Neil Jordan, Alta Keeling and Marie Ackerson; and her parents, Ruby Campbell and Walter Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Talmage Atkinson (Darlene) of Kingston, Robert Atkinson (Shawna) of Oro-Medonte and Brenda Wood (Bruce) of Severn; her grandchildren, Brent, Joe, Marc, Carrie, Jordan and Ethan; her great grandchildren, Owen, River, Willow, Cameron, Triston, Madisynne, Braxton and Selena; her great great grandchildren, Jaxon and Clayton; and her sibling Merritt Jordan (Fern) of New Brunswick.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (265 Coldwater Rd W, Orillia, ON L3V3M1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
