She is survived by: her children, Jane Everist (Rob) and Robert; her grandchildren, Bryce Everist (Karlee), Michelle MacDonald (Andrew) and Lucas McArthur; and her great grandchildren, Eleanor and Eric MacDonald.

In 2012, Ann was awarded The Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal recognizing a lifetime of outstanding volunteerism and her contributions to Canada.
