Shannon wrote a sympathy message

“Marg and I met at Georgian College, Barrie back in 1973 when we were taking what is now called the Developmental Services Worker program. We both moved to Orillia and worked at Huronia Regional Centre. Marg was a great friend and lots of fun. I have many fond memories of long since closed drinking establishments. Marg was with me when we argued against the Admission Fee for Mr. T’s show at the First Hotel......based on the fact that guys didn’t have to pay to see the girls dance. We lost.”
