She was predeceased by: her parents, George Sheppard and Christina Sheppard; her daughter Patsy Parker; and her brothers, Elmer (late Evelyn) and Howard (late Jackie).

She is survived by: her daughter Tammy Leigh (Robert); her grandchildren, Jessica Canning, Dennis Barkley, Erin Brodie-Canning, Garrett Brodie and Crystal Parker; her great grandchildren, Declan, Aliviyah, Ben, Harley, Jayden and Kallie; her siblings, Roy (Mary), Jean Collar (late George) and George (Ruth); and her significant other Murray Bruce. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
