It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Evelyn Pilger (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on April 13, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ross Pilger; her children, Gary Pilger (Bernice) of Brechin and Joyce (Dave Beers) of Orillia; her grandchildren, Chris and Devan; her sister Edna Crawford; and her parents, John Ballam and Fanny Ballam.
She is survived by: her children, John Pilger of Minden, Doreen "Dean" (Ted Lamb) of Orillia and Frank Pilger (Laurie) of Coopers Falls; and her grandchildren, Lisa, Robin, Gus (Jerdelle), Scott (Karen), Shane (Lisa), Jason (Amanda), Mark (Tanya), Tammy, Willow, Dennis (Keziah), Derek (Joy), Dustyn and Dylan. She is also survived by her family and friends.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Diabetes Canada.
