With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mert Dauncey (Orillia, Ontario), who passed away on March 10, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Edie; his daughters, Debbie and Lisa (Scott); his grandchildren, Chris, Brad, Tyler and Tessa; and his sister Joan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to a Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital or to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family and may be made through the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street East Orillia (705) 327 0221.
