He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Gail; his children, Mathew Smith (Ana) of Courtice and Nadine Marges (Ed) of Utterson; his grandchildren, Ben Smith, Luc Smith and Sophia Marges; his parents, Ellen Smith and Clifford Smith; his siblings, Roger Smith (Valerie) of Oro, Norah Smith and Charles Smith of Orillia; and his nieces and nephews, Marc Smith, Amber Smith, Stephanie Anderson (Skinner), Johan Mearns and Danielle Smith.
