He is survived by: his close friend June Pettit; his daughter Dorthea Hangaard; his grandchildren, Alan Jr., Julian, Kyra and Lily; his sister Vera Roggwiller (Felix) of Switzerland; his nieces, Tammy Ritchie (Michael) of Barrie and Kirsten Moller-Madsen of Denmark; Alan Pettit (Moni).
